Story Behind The Song
At one time when I was living with Michael Nelson, just outside of Sumas, Washington, we had an argument, and I realized what it was, we were simply boxings shadows, not anything with substance, simply shadows. Reminded me of Pluto's Cave analogy.
And this song came right in..I love the harmonies, it's me..:)
Song Description
Shadows have no substance and aren't worth arguing about.

Lyrics
Shadow Boxing
Chorus:
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
I I have heard that voice
Recognize the tone
Know we're not alone
I I know what you mean
The shadows are extreme
This one wants to Scream
It wants to Scream
Chorus:
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
I I have heard that Sound
I know how this feels
I know that it's not real
I reach deep into my heart
Deep into my soul
How much do I know?
How much do I know?
I know I'm
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
Shadow Boxing with You again
Uhuhhum
Shadow Boxing
